Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 released
Yahoo! the company with the big red logo and a very nice name, which is now under the eye of the giant software company has released the new version of its chat software, Yahoo! Messenger. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 9 and it is available for free download here.
The above link is for XP users as the majority of our visitors are using it, Yahoo Messenger 9 is also available for other operating systems like Vista and Mac. In Yahoo! Messenger first we see the login box and after we log in, we see the menu and list of the contacts. It shows who are online and who we can chat with. Just below the file menu, we can set our status too. Status like Available, Busy etc…
Handling abusive teachers
Jerri Ann posted on her blog about an abusive teacher, who is known for her yelling at the children. Jerri was asking on how to handle the situation. I happened to see her post via Digg and thought that I’d give her an idea of what to do.
I am a guy who never faced abusive teachers, but there was the principal who was scary. Our physical trainer in school used to hit us with a stick, but he loved us a lot, it was evident that he used to beat us to make us better. Teachers yelling at very young students means only one thing, she is not fit to be a teacher. I am a believer that people do need to discipline the young ones, but only after they cross the tender age and reach teen hood, aka 13. I have been brought up that way and things are fine, I am quiet emotinally stable.
Coming back to this abusive teacher, what should Jerri Ann do, I asked myself. The answer to this question was somewhat quick on my mind. You should see if your son is scared of this teacher and if her yelling is making him think that all teachers are like that. If he is facing a problem like this, make a pie, take it to school and throw it on that teacher’s face!! or you can also tell her that she has to be more polite and patient with your son. You should also talk to other parents about it, I guess..
