To make more money with Adsense, Many people wanted to know which Ad unit works the best. To find out there was a survey conducted, many big and small websites were asked about the Ad units that worked best for them and the result of the survey was amazing.
Big Ad units are better
The survey showed that when each ad unit was marked and clicks were tracked, the ones placed on prominent locations like above the content and with in, did a lot better than the smaller ad units placed on the sidebars. The big ad units placed above the content in the middle also faired a lot better than the vertical side bar ads. We use the 480×60 Ad unit for Em Posts (big ad unit above the heading)

The major key is trial and error, when evolution could do it, why are you getting lazy? Change ads atleast once a week and see which combination works best and continue with that. Before all that focus on getting atleast a hundred visitors a day.

Tips to make more money with adsense by increasing click through rate
CTR (Click Through Rate) is a very important factor in a websites commercial success. Generally more clicks means more money with adsense. But clicks are not the only thing that matter, even impressions do. More impressions on the ads also means more money. The one basic key to increasing impressions is to get more and more people to read interesting content on your website. There are many ways to increase the CTR.
- It has been seen that wide ads get more attention than small ones.
- Your page should be rich with the keyword which you are targeting. This is because Adsense should be able to figure out what it has to put. In this most I am emphasizing the word adsense.
- Blend the ads with the websites back ground.
- It has been said that Adsense can read minds, not really but a program can point out if a particular page will make people buy a product, like a review page and such pages get more money per click.
- Place ads where people notice them, like above the heading or in the middle of content or on the top of the sidebars. Read this for more on the right locations to place your ads.

It looks so original doesn’t it, well its not. If you see someone selling a product like an ebook or a software with screen shots like this, don’t fall for them. This is a screenshot made by a person at Digital Point forums and he clearly told that it was done using a simple software which is there on every Windows computer, MS Paint.
Sticking to infromation from blogs and websites is enough. You don’t need to buy ebooks or softwares or adsense ready websites to make money. Patiently wait for a few months and add content about your niche and that is enough! Patience is really the secret. Don’t fall or buy such things as shortcuts can only get you banned. There are many incidents where people were banned for using softwares to increase adsense earnings.

To make money with adsense, you need to sign up with them. The process is pretty simple and our next post will be a video on how to join adsense. After filling the application you need to wait for a while until it gets accepted, many people wonder about the time that it is going to take.
In many cases the application has been rejected and the main cause for this is that they don’t want initials in the name field but you have to put the full name. Some people don’t put their full name and thus the application gets rejected. Read the entire TOS of Adsense and then fill in the website name in the required column. Also make sure you have read the localized Terms and Conditions.
The time taken to accept the application varies from person to person, my application was accepted in a day but some of my friends had to wait for weeks for it to get accepted. It is an automated process and will probably depend on the number of pending applications. Only way you can get an instant Adsense account is if you know someone in Google (most probably!).

The main trick to make money with Adsense is that there is none. You will be very excited to know that there are people who have made millions!! There are even proofs that they have, just search for Shoemoney on Google and you’ll see his cheque and be shocked. He is just one guy but there are people who have made lots from Adsense (including me!)
It takes work but after consistent work you will achieve it, I had a friend who worked on a website for six months and started making seven thousand dollars monthly. He made a website with about thirty articles, which he wrote in about a month or two, then he focused on the real thing, promotion of the website. After writing thirty high quality articles for sales on his own website (he was selling a product), he wrote on article directories (spins of original articles) and he put them on over two hundred websites (like eZineArticles). After a little time the traffic coming to his website boosted and he was making a lot of cash. The reason that this story is being mentioned is that you don’t become a millionaire if you do nothing but you sure can if you work smart.
