Review of the most famous blogging software
Blogging has become a big fashion these days. Actors, sales men, business men and school kids all are blogging about something or the other. Blogging is a form of self expression, some think that it is a diary but it actually is much bigger than that. Blogging is a platform where one person can tell a lot of things to millions of people around the world. There are people who make a lot of money through blogging too.
This review is on a blogging software called as Wordpress, this review will concentrate on the new version of it, version 2.6. As time goes by, when newer versions of Wordpress will be released, this post will become out dated but the word new might not be removed from this review because a lot of new features were put into it which will make Wordpress enter into the next level of a blogging software.
The guys in the wordpress community have done a marvelous job this time, the same cannot be said when they released version 2.3 of wordpress which had hell lot of security flaws and many websites were exploited because of this. No such security error has been reported with the new version yet.
In the new version of Wordpress, you don’t need to install a theme to preview it, just a click on the screen shot will show the preview. This is the feature that no other blogging software had and thats what took it to the next level of blogging softwares.
Another feature is word count. It is located just below the Save, Publish buttons and is indeed very helpful for professional writers. Manu blogs offer money writers for making blog posts on them but the posts have to be more than some pre-specified number of words. Now writers can directly check the number og words used.
Other features look similar to Wordpress 2.5 but if you want a blogging software then this one is the best!
